Has it been two years yet? I miss you terribly. Please come home already, I'd like my friend back. I miss talking to him in person. I know that you're out doing a marvelous work, and I'm extremely happy about that, but I just wish I could talk to you again without it being through pen and paper. Sorry to be so negative :/ Better days will come I know. Hearing from you would push that along!

gather to hear the words of a prophet
Date? October 2-6, 2009
Where? Salt Lake City/Sandy/Provo, Utah
With Who? Natalia, Jackie, Liesl, Katie & others :)
On Oct. 2nd, Natalia, Jackie, Liesl and I headed down to Provo in my car.
We made pretty awesome time from here to Ogden.
Can you believe that even when someone is going 90 you can still be going SLOWER then the flow of traffic?!
Crazy huh.
So we get to Ogden, and traffic decides to suck it up and slow down to snail speed.
It was pretty much like that all the way to Provo.
The reason?
Well ya see, the football game that night was against Utah State, and so about then was when we started hitting the game traffic.
That combined with all the students going down from Idaho PLUS the regular friday rush hour traffic, turned our 4 1/2 hour trip into a 6 1/2 hour trip.
But that is ok because the weekend was still fun.
So I dropped off Liesl and Jackie for the weekend, and met up with Katie.
Her, Natalia, her roommate and I, went for the last quarter of the football game!

And then we went to the training table where you seat yourself and then order through a phone at the booth!
Pretty much made my whole night.
Then we spent the night in Sandy at Natalia's aunt's house because in the morning we took the Trax up to Salt Lake.
That was quite fun.
I kinda enjoy public transportation when all the mormons are riding it.
It makes the trip not so scary so to say because you don't have many creepy people riding it.
Conference was amazing.
We went to the Saturday morning sessions.
Here is a picture on the trax :)
Ate dinner with Katie, Amy and Robert Saturday night, and Sunday between conferences as well.
Sunday, picked up my crew again, and we left for Rexburg.
It was very rainy almost the whole way back.
PLUS, it snowed a little in pocatello!
Oh, and get this: the rain, made my car DIRTY!
That's right, like the drops came, and when they dried, there was dirt in its spot!
Well, that's my trip!
I love life, and being lds, and having amazing friends/family.

the trip across two states.
so yesterday we (as in natalia and i) started out to rexburg, id
planned on leaving at five in the am, however, that's when i woke up.
haha.
so we left at six.
it was pouring down rain.
pretty uneventful for a few hours.
then in la grande, which is like four to five hours into the trip, we met amber on the road!
that was kinda fun.
especially after nothing-ness most of the morning.
around two all three of us decided to eat lunch in meridian, id (close to boise).
after that, somewhere in the middle of nowhere, we (natalia and i) resolved to stop and pick wild sunflowers on the side of the freeway.
HOWEVER, there was a rest stop close so we went to it instead.
and this is the reason for my blog.
we took pictures and here they are :)

summer end.
I'm three weeks from going back to college.
It's a little weird because I'm having mixed feelings about leaving.
I'm not as stoked as I once was.
I got comfortable at home, but now I'm just going to be leaving again.
I don't like moving constantly.
I need one home.
Stability.
Oh well, it was still fun... and I really am excited to see friends and room with Natalia.
Highlights of summer:
-family
-kayaking
-being home with my BFF <3
-going to the lake with Amber and Lauren and sailing a two man sailboat!
-seeing old friends
-not having to cook! :P
-earning money
-going to the beach with Katie this week
-going to the beach with my family the last weekend I'm here! :D
-saw lots of movies with Nat :)
-went to Rexburg for the 4th
-watched dad "play in the mud" at washougal... he got first place
-got Jake!! I love that little bugger
-Relient K concert with Cassie

-babysitting Shelby

Today has been fun!
This morning: babysit Shelby
-when she woke up from her nap, she was calling my name. so cute! it made me feel special. :)
This afternoon/evening: went to cedar creek with mom and annie and kathy's families. brought jake with me for the first time! ah he was so cute to watch. he finally was walking on a leash instead of trying to back out of it every second! yay! what else... oh he was on the inner tube with me after swimming a little bit for the FIRST time!
isn't he just the cutest thing?
Tonight: I've learned that its NOT a good idea to give ryan ANY money. not unless he gives you his first. he owes me $640 at the moment. can you say stressful? because that money is the money for school.
and i'm still sickk. i dont like colds. they worsen at night and in the morning. no bueno.
